Victoria Porfilio is a Health Consultant, Wellness Educator, Therapist and Life Coach who brings an innovative and multi-disciplinary approach to her practice. She has lectured extensionally at Colleges, Universities, Health Centers, Churches, Hospitals, Doctor's offices and corporate America throughout the United States and Canada. Vicky also founded the Bridge to Wellness Health Center in 1995, and co-founded Lakeside Promotions in 1997, and has brought into Western New York speakers such as Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer, and others to lecture on the topics of integrated healthcare and the concept of mind-body medicine. She has also been a promoter of many health fairs throughout Western New York. Her focus is finding ways for individuals to have optimal physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well being. This approach is done by combining the best that is offered from traditional allopathic medicine and the best possible complementary therapies available, focusing on wellness and prevention through mind-body integration. She assists clients in healing trauma from illness or injuries through rebalancing the body's innate healing pathways unique for each individual.

She believes that self-care and taking responsibility for one's healthcare is essential if a person desires optimal health. Since 1995 she has taught thousands of people about the importance of integrating healing therapies, nutrition, bio-feedback, hypnosis, the importance of a daily meditation practice, energy medicine, mind-body medicine, exercise, complimentary modalities, along with traditional medicine which focuses on pharmaceuticals, surgery, and medical procedures. While some of the therapies used to be non-conventional twenty years ago, they are now accepted in main stream medicine. A guiding principal with integrative medicine in the year 2014 is that now these therapies and practices have high quality evidence to support them. Thousands of research studies have proven the effectiveness of the above mentioned modalities.

Vicky's eclectic academic background provides her the expertise necessary to provide clients the best and safest modalities for optimal health. She has also kept up with the latest research available so that she can pass that knowledge on to her clients and students. Vicky has been a member of both the American Holistic Medical Association and the American Holistic Nurses Association, and has attended many yearly conferences to bring the most current information and research in the field of integrated health care to her clients. She has been a pioneer in the field of complimentary and integrative health care since 1995.

Vicky teaches a variety of workshops and classes, weekend retreats, 12 Week Radical Makeover programs, lectures on many topics, as well as individual consultations. She has been an expect in working with individuals as a Life Coach and Therapist.
